Almost All Artesia Employees Have 'No Confidence' In Their City Manager


Artesia Employees, represented by AFSCME Local 1520, and a newly formed Managers union, declared that they have 'no confidence' in City Manager Bill Rawlings and essentially state that he is 'unfit for office.'

Because they are all taking action with concerted union activity, they are protected state law.

City Employees, Residents Protest L.A. Mayor's Proposed Cuts

Los Angeles, Califiornia - More than a thousand union members, residents, and activists crowded the LA City Council Budget Meeting on the evening of April 28.   Eye On Pioneer interviewed several union members and residents rallying against Mayor Karen Bass's budget cuts as they gathered outside of City Hall.
